Guys,

Sorry, been on goliday and missed the development of this thread. I thought it had lost momentum.

Going to have to drop out because I am going to jbs to have a chat about custom code.

Can we report the results afterwards.

Once again, apologies,

John

Gents,

I too am not going to be able to make it - have booked a last minute holiday with the girlfriend and have to leave early saturday morning. Bad timing really as I wanted to give the old motor a test on the dyno after cleaning my green filter - I wanted to see a) if it improved things and B) if I had over oiled and covered the MAF.

Oh well, will have to wait for next time, but I look forward to seeing some printouts afterwards...

Eh??

You sorted this out!!

Can't you speak about CC over the phone?

Does anybody know if this is still going ahead?

Anybody actually spoken to Stealth?

Are we going to be met with blank faces?

This has to be the most badly organised RR day I have ever been involved in!!

So does any body know if this day actually exists?

Does stealth know were coming?

Is it still on? :RIP:

If not shall we organise 1 or forget about it?

any answers or comments please.

shambles

I have just spoken to Stealth Racing who know nothing about this Rolling Road day, in fact they don't even do Rolling Road days on Saturdays!!

So, it seems its been a complete waste of time and effort.

Wonder when we would have found this out?

John, did you make the date up yourself or did you actually bother speaking to Stealth?

ffs

where and when then?? any suggestions? AMD?

Stealth will be a good venue but they hold their RR days on a Sunday.

I wasnt that impressed with AMD when I went to one of their days last year.

Gary M,

Your tone is not appreciated, if you have an issue please pm me.

I have been to a stealth r r day that was organised for the lupo/ arosa owners club at stealth. I did not speak to stealth i decided to gauge the interest first!.

Since then I lost touch with the thread as i was on holiday.

I was organising this voluntarily!

John

sounds good gary, shall we re-organise for say late august rather than late july to give both us and them a chance. J will hopefully be ready by then for a demo :D

You set the date so I don't think it was unfair for us to expect you had actually contacted Stealth to book the day.

This has been posted across three forums with many people now feeling let down by such disorganisation.

My 'tone' just expresses the way that a few of us feel with regards to this.

Anyway, many thanks for your help with regards to this rolling road day :)

Sounds good Bengie but it was worrying how few people we recruited that started dropping out at the last minute.

We would need firm commitemnt from people otherwise it'll end up being just us two

oh well, mini meet?

John you bloody idiot! hows that for tone!

you had not even spoken to Stealth about it or set a date? You post a RR day, then confirm a date which people have taken as real, these people have organised things for it... you go away on holiday, come back and say "only gauging interest"... its posted on several forums, but was never actually organised???? and at this late date you yourself change your mind. That sums it up does'nt it?

Would members like to post invitations on the seat/ golf/ lupoand arosa forums and others?

Lastly' date=' I will suggest a date - Saturday morning 30th July 2005.

FFS man, what do you think peoples reactions are going to be :thumbdwn:

You are clueless it seems.

Thanks very much for messing people about. Nice one. BERK!

F*cking unbelievable

now now bill, a lot are 'miffed' but don't get yourself in trouble mate :)

Gary, the title of the post included the word suggestion !

Then if there is enough interested people we could discuss a date.

Then I would contact Stealth.I didn't want to mess stealth around.

I was trying to make sure we had enough people for a particular date in the future, sa as to provide stealth with suitable notice.

If that's not straight forward and honest I QUIT

John

A date was discussed and set!!

It was you who failed to manage this farce, sorry, event.

Sorry John, I can't agree with you on that one.

I've made my feelings clear so won't post again in this thread.

Its really not worth falling out over.

If you like i will walk down to stealth and speak to the guys face to face and and find for august, ill find out dates, availble times, how many people required and a price according to how many people. Just say the word and ill do it
