Suggestion-Rolling Road Testing Stealth Racing Rugby

Featured Replies

Hi,

Anyone interested in going to a Saturday morning meet at Stealth Racing in Rugby for rolling road test.

I have been there myself and believe the have accurate rolling road. I believe charges are around £25 for 2 tests per car on the rolling, dependent on the number of cars. It's quite accessible especially from the M69, A45 and only

6 miles from Junction 12 off the M40, and is located on the A423.

May I suggest a saturday morning towards the end of July?

Please post your name if your interested.

Best wishes

John

N.B : Would Seat/ VW owners, perhaps Lupo/ Arosa owners be welcome?

I may be interested if a Golf is welcome?

Work pending that is.

Sounds like a fairly central meet.

I think we need at least 10 cars to be offered £25 per car (2 runs)

John

i would come happily come along if welcome in my octavia, do they have a 2 wheel or 4 wheel dyno

sod it, 2WD dyno, have fun lads :(

I'm game...

If we can make it Saturday 30th July, then I GUARENTEE I'll be there, as I'm up in the Midlands and will have just had my new car's running gear Jabba'd again, (the day before :D)

Will be good for a comparison of rolling roads!

Gonna start a little list of those above:

1) Johnyardley

2) GaryM (i'm sure Veedubs are more than welcome to join in)

3) Cheekymonkey

4) devonutopia (has to be 30/07/05 though)

5) VRStu? :)

Bengie, just disconnect the plug on your Haldex ECU, thats how Eddy and many other 4wd owners run their cars on JBS's 2WD rollers.

It takes seconds, just remember to plug it back in after!!

oooohhhhh, how and where?? if it really is that easy then i'm there!! :D

Yeah, get on! Get your name down. Any chance the date of 30/07/05 can be confirmed or OK'd provisionally with Stealth? Its just I don't want to commit to something unless its this date for certain. :)

(I know its just an "idea" at the moment though ;):))

BTW - Are you sure this place has a RR in Rugby? Its just I see no mention of it, and the address on the website is:

Stealth Racing UK, Units 6 & 12, Warwick House Industrial Estate, Banbury Road, Southam, Warwickshire, CV47 2PT

Edit: Ignore my ramblings - I did a map search and it's only about 20 miles from Rugby and still within easy reach of my "lodgings" that weekend.

Would members like to post invitations on the seat/ golf/ lupoand arosa forums and others?

Lastly, I will suggest a date - Saturday morning 30th July 2005.

Tom - leave me a number by PM. You're more than welcome to come to Jabba and see what the car gets. Although the big "unveiling" will be at Stealth - for which a mini cruise from outside Leicester is more than welcome. ;)
