53Reg vRS best way to sell?

Featured Replies

I've owned a 53reg Fabia vRS (black) since new. It's regularly serviced - no modifications - and has done just over 80,000 miles. No major bodywork problems but the interior needs a good valet to bring it up to scratch. Any ideas what it might be worth? And where would be the best place to advertise it for sale? I'm not looking to buy a replacement just yet. Cheers

Get advertising it on here but you will need to be a freedom member. that way you'll avoid all the idiots on eBay.

Id prob be looking to advertise on pistonheads, autotrader etc - there is a for sale section on this forum too :)

Have a look and see what others are selling them for and it will give u an idea of what the going rate is & also the kind of things to say! :)

and do a proper advert. You won't get a better audience of Skoda people for your car anywhere else!

I'll leave this for a little while, but if there's no response soon I will pull it for being a potential advert.

Ok thanks a lot for the advice everyone. I don't get on to the forum much so apologies for not getting back to you straightaway.

Cheers

I have always had success on Gumtree. It is free as well. There will however always be time wasters wherever you decide to advertise the car.

when i was selling my mk1 vrs i got more response from ebay to be honest

Selling depends on the vehicle and price really, as to where's best to advertise it.

I would sign up for Freedom here in the first instance and then Pistonheads at the same time probably.

Autotrader can be good, but it's getting very expensive these days (circa £50) for a basic advert. And if I were looking, I'd be focusing on owner forums and Pistonheads first anyway.
