L&K - does it come with the new logo/badges?

Featured Replies

In Google images, I found this picture of a white L&K in a Scandinavian showroom. I suddenly noticed that the wheell centre caps appear to have the new Skoda logo/badge, although they are very small and if you enlarge the picture the quality goes. But does anyone think the L&Ks on order now may arrive newly-badged?

Don't know the answer to this good question. From your image it does look like the new design no sign of any green.

Just looked on the SUK 3D configurator and they appear to have a splash of green - old style.

I wonder if the UK is getting fobbed off with the remaining stock of the old badges and mainland Europe gets new ones?

What a surprise that would be.

More likely SUK will specially have the old badges manufactured just for us in the UK :giggle:

I quite like the old badges.....Jez runs for cover....

I want to know if there are any L&K badges that can be put on the boot... I want the people following knowing I am driving a Lambert and Butler Laurin & Klement

You could always remove them from the front wings (where they perhaps look a bit naff - I won't know until I see one in the flesh) and reposition one on the back.

Jez - you're quite entitled to like the old badge, but I just think the new ones are rather fetching and will certainly look good on a white Yeti (and I want to match my wife'e Citigo!).

What we want to know is the Skoda badge at the back the same same as the one on my car.

By the way my old Octavia had a L & K badge on the rear.

I'm currently roller-skating around in a CitiGo loan car whilst my Yety is back at the "specialist garage" yet again, this time for attention to the heater/climate control that never stops blowing hot air since they replaced the ambient temperature sensor in January ()when I reckon there was nothing wrong with it - but the car showed a fault "so it must be faulty"!).

Anyway, the CitiGo has the new badges on it of course but they fooled my next door neighbour who is quite car savvy, and he came round to have a look at my "new Vauxhall" as he thought it must be the new Adam.

From a moderate distance, they do have a similar look to the latest Vauxhall emblem.

I think I'll stay with the original design - although I notice the white worm is making an appearance once again!

I hope it does, then I can order the new design rear badge. It could be however, that maybe the new owner (as it appears to be registered), purchased some new badges, and asked the dealer to install prior to delivery - just a thought!

I do not know about the badges but I can confirm the L&K wheels are 2 tone design polished spokes mixed with black as to your picture above.

I would quite like that but it's not shown in the catalogue, interesting.

I specifically asked about the wheels on the L & K when ordering, as I wanted the 2 tone version but was told by the dealer after he checked with SUK that these weren’t an option and it was the standard polished versions that are fitted. Maybe it's just for our European friends!

Based on reading peoples experiences here I have no faith at all in SUK on any detailed specification question and dealers are no more able to depend on them.

I've just bought a set of Annapurnas from a UK dealer and they came with new style badges and two tone with polished spoke faces and black inner rims and spokes.

They are therefore not reserved for European purchasers but I have no idea what my ordered L&K will come with. If I thought Skoda UK (more or less a call centre operation) might know I'd ask them!

I bought a set of SkodaParts Spectrum alloys to use as winter wheels, and they came with the new design wheel centres. (A good price incidentally... £127.80 per wheel from Bickerton Garage Ltd.. worked out at £523.70 delivered.)

Please find an update on the L&K Spec
