Protection my Anthracite

Featured Replies

I'm looking to get a long lasting protection (rather than ultimate bling) for the anthracite estate. Nothing too difficult to apply or buff as I have a trapped nerve due to spondulitis and cannot press down much. Also a lazy sod.

Colinite seems to crop up often.

Clay the car with Bilt Hamber Autoclay

Polish with Gtechnik P1

Protect with Poorboys EX-P Sealer

Top that after a couple of hours with Collinite 845 Wax

It may well look like this then: ;)

Looks very smart.

I've never been much of polisher. As I mentioned, I have spondylitis, so hours of rub-on, rub-off are not possible.

It has to be a one shot or nothing, I'm afraid.

From your regime, I presume the Colinite will work, if not to the perfection of yours.

Option coat 2.0 ! Job done. Spent 5hrs cleaning ,claying, iron x ing, g101 ing, and polishing before applying the option coat 2.0 . Worth a look as it works and is permanent.

Pictures or it never happened!

Will post one up. Didn't post one because if you've seen one clean car you've seen them all lol.

The car is no more shinny wet looking than a normal wax but so far it's staying cleaner for longer.

Ok pic of car after 9 days and 250-300 miles driving in wet and dry conditions.

Seems to be reasonably clean still.

Pic of what I used. The windows were treated to the g1 stuff too.

I'm after easy long term protection not necessarily the best shine.

Still have loads of opti coat 2.0 left. Probably enough for 3 fabia size cars if not 4!

Oh forgot to post pic of auto glum polish and clay bar and lube.
