Range rovers

Featured Replies

The Discovery is a nice car, but it just does not have the feeling or interior space of the Range Rover.

Which is why the latter is Land Rover's top end product.

Mind you, they can be good used buys at 2 or 3 years old with prices not much different from a new Yeti.

Unless (as George suggested) you find one that's been through many buyers, got no service history and has generally not been looked after.

But as most (if not all) the work is likely to have been done under warranty at Land Rover main dealers it's not an issue.

Just check what you are buying, just like with any car. It's not rocket science.

Does it have to be a Range Rooney for going on the school run?

How about a big estate instead? - I've had my E250 CDi Estate for a month or so now and it's FAB - 2.2 twin turbo diesel is almost as quick (7.5 vs 7.6 seconds to 60 on the 4/4 TDV8) RR, It's got a Much bigger (with the cover over) boot than the RR, it's easier to get into than the RR, it's £135 to tax for 12 months; MUCH cheaper than the RR, it's got a lovely 7 speed autobox with flappy-paddles and if it's never going to go off road, then why bother..?

Because she is a woman and she knows what she likes lol I think she will probably end up with an slk or a TT, or maybe something she hasn't even thought of yet!!!!!

Yummie Mummies were driving Evoques,

but i suppose there are only so many times you can reverse without seeing where you are going,

so Audi RS's seem to be the popular choice now.

Drop off the Kids, School or Nursery,

park in the Parent Child bay, get some shopping, then drive to the Gym or fitness class!!

Have you looked at smaller 4x4s like the Honda CRV, Rav4?

If your wife is anything like my wife she know exactly what she wants until she sees something else or her pals slag off what it was she wanted to start with.

So she might say one day "I really want a £30k X5", to be followed the next day by actually buying an £8k used CRV because she likes the neighbours car.
