I have just discovered scanners........

Featured Replies

So i have been scanning for days now. As you can see my sig contains a few ex-motors - but i thought i would add some more for you to see.......

My first ever car. I was lucky enough to get this for my 18th birthday as a brand spanker :) I did like it and it was not the obvious choice but it managed 67000 miles in 3 years without a hitch and i sold it for 6000 less than i bought it for - so i would say it was better than the clio / saxo i had.....Oh and that is my now wife - was girly friend at the time...

I bought this Seat Arosa for Serena [then Girly friend, now wifey] and it was a stock 1.0 but it had every option (sort of) including A/C, PAS, airbag, but no central locking and no lecky windows. But within months of having the car, it got tints, wheels, lowered 60mm on standard shocks (lovely ride) mesh grill front valance with fogs, Audi S mirrors, silver bump strips and rear lights. Very cute ickly car.

Interesting story behind this car. My dad bought it new in 1989. It is a 2.2 n/a Quattro. He loved the car so much, he ran it until the floor pan virtually dropped out in 2002 so at that point he gave me the keys. I have always wanted this car since being a child - but I was in tears within 24 hours. It was horrid to drive. Very slow, didn't handle, brakes were ****, steering was sooooo vague. I ended up selling it for my E30 325 - which was a tarmac shreader in comparison !

I know i loved that little seat - god know's why we got rid - i think she wanted a brand new car - hense the Clio 1.2 16v, which was considerably quicker !

Andy,

Seen E30 for under

Hi Adrian

I love E30 BMW's as you can tell. The E30 is quite an old car now, and suffers from the usual wear and tear - but minters can be found !

Head gaskets are a big problem on the 325's - and cam chains are fitted instead of belts. I would ideally have the cam chain and water pump done when you get the car - but this may cost
