Fabia sport 1.2. 12v 64bhp

Featured Replies

Going to look at a couple of these for my son both with about 60k on, one 55 plate and the other 05. What's a good price to pay for these at dealers (not skoda) and what do we look out for with this engine etc.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Its a good engine!

Just sold my brothers yesterday and ut was fine at 103k

The engines are chain driven so aslong as its had regular oil changes you cant go wrong

There a 3 cylinder engine and the 65bhp has 12v so sounds a little rough but thats the normal for a 3 cylinder engine.

Great around town as a runabout but not ideal on the motorway :o

£2000/£2500

I'd suggest having a search on here, they're not without issue (what engine is?).

Sell me your seat belts!

I bought mine about a year ago cat D on a 55 with somthing like 40k on for a little over £1000.

Fixed and sold for over £2000 in the end.

Sell me your seat belts!

I WAS GONNA SAY THAT!!!!! :L

Excellent first car! (Im guessing its for his first at least?) I'm 21 today and have had it from 17. Never had any issues! Looks great, sounds quite good as its the 3 cylinder, low insurance and best of all the red seat belts lol ;-) . The only thing I've done is the rear door seals as most people. Also may be worth buying the skoda rear speakers kit as it only has front speakers, eBay is a marvelous place!

Looking at 1.2 64bhp, but no one is having the seat belts. Two we have seen are good condition but on is £2999 and the other is an over the top joke at £3999 but I have told them this over the top and won't pay anywhere near that much.
