Featured Replies

Due to surcumstances i wont be keeping my skoda fun to carry out the big projects i intended too do :( So a 81k skoda will be going...sad times :(

Aww that's a shame! But as needs must :( Will she be tinned or sold on to continue living??

Lee.

Sorry to hear that jackmx131. It can sometimes be difficult to realise project plans but as Lee says at times needs must. No great strength in Fun sales at the moment but best of luck all the same.

I've got to get somthing more practical, I would keep, I will be selling it, would never scrap it...far too good for that, its only done 81k

Agreed, re-sale would definitely be the option. I can only really justify keeping mine because we have the Fabia & yes practicality does come into it!

Whichever way you go hope things work out ;)

Originally I got mine as a bit of fun, but it's been, by far, the most practical thing I've owned. Have had a shed, a tree and a boxed freezer in there with no trouble.

Good to see JackMix's will live on :)

They certainly are hugely versatile Rainbow  but perhaps jackmx131 is considering other aspects of practicality that may be more relevant to him? :smirk:

or maybe he's skint :bandit: using a fun bus has it's drawbacks if you go out on the rob to earn a living, trouble is it sticks out like a saw thumb

I've seen quite a few taken on as projects only to be re-sold relatively soon afterwards.

Mind you at least she'll still be in circulation

I'm not skint haha! I can run it quite easily, as I am only 19 my insurance has been sky high but now its coming down a lot! saying that I do work for a BMW specialist and can afford a BMW so that's why my trucks going. It was titled as a project as I was going to lower it,re paint it, New wheels, engine conversion etc. It's still a standard truck lol!

I think it's great to see a young person taking on a Fun  & if you end up going down the beamer route then good luck to you.

Not as fun as a fun imo :giggle:;)

What on Earth are you suggesting, Sir?

I'm going to buy a Volvo this year or next, but genuinely don't believe I could bring myself to sell the Felly! Keep it as an ornament on your drive/pavement mate! :p

Sort of agree, but sadly not all of us have the luxury of doing this :smirk:

Haha, I can only afford to run one car and struggle like hell to run it even then; but I reckon if I put it on the net, I'll probably ask like, idk £600 or something because it's 17 year old and not exactly prestigious, low mileage, maybe.

But I risk some raggy dolee/gyppo type thinking 'Well ayyyeeee that sh*tty old banger Skoda will do nicely for picking up scrap :bandit: ' and run it into the ground and then I would have to take my own life by drowning myself in my own hateful, selfish tears.
