I cant decide do i go for a remap this month or do i get coilovers ??

Remap, then save up for Coilovers but thats just my opinion. I'm running a remap on standard suspension at the moment.

Show or Go that is the question!

I'd opt for Go everytime which is why i've been remapped for 4 years and done plenty of other stuff but never lowered

Go is not very handy when it parks you in a hedge though

Thats my point i want show and go "facepalm" think ill go coilovers and bushings to stiffin it up for much better handling

just drive to road then! defo go, get it remapped, end of day u drive to your cars capabilities right?!

Or get it remapped, then buy coilovers on finance from demon-tweeks. Can get them from around £30 a month. Double win

I'd go for coilovers,I always look at a nice lowered car whereas who's going to know its been remapped? Get the remap when the warmer weather comes then you can really get the most out of it

But you know what they say - power is nothing without control!

For the record, when I had an Impreza I added 100 bhp which only had some lowering springs and uprated disks/pads and would have no issue doing the same again with out those but the Impreza was a good base to start with - IMO, the Fabia is not a good base to start throwing power at!

i completly agree with you brun, but in all fairness id like to think people are capable enough to know the cars they drive before throwing them around puplic roads..

To be fair that's a good point brun that's why I'd go coilovers first but agree that you should know how it handles before you drive like a loon. I'd still go for coilovers first just for looks, saw a standard vrs today and omg someone should be sacked for that arch gap! Are basic Fabia higher than that??
