Fabia Dash Pin-Out

Featured Replies

Morning all,

Does anyone know the pinouts for the mk1 fabia dash. Preferably just the pin for the dash lights.

This is for my second cluster which I will trial changing the LEDs on, but if I could connect it to a 12V PSU, would make my life easier, rather than constantly pulling my dash in and out for two seconds worth of testing.

Cheers!

Get a little volt meter. That way you can check each led is still working when you change them :-)

Yeah I was thinking that. I just want to see if I can put a PSU on the correct pin to light all the LEDs up without having to plug it in the car all the time. Plus with my new dash, im not sure if it works or not yet :)

Fair enough mate. Not sure which pin you need though sorry

Harmless Sunday bump

Hi Mike,

Did have a look at doing the same thing when I change the LEDs in the cluster, but as far as I could see there is no pin connected directly to the sidelights. Upon looking at it further the sidelight switch is connected to the convenience unit which in turn is connected to the instrument cluster. So basically when the side lights are turned on the instrument cluster lights up because it has received digital signal from the convenience unit.

So unfortunately as far as I know it can't be done.

Hope this helps

Karl

Thanks Karl :) Looks like it will be in and out with my dash then :) I shall drop you a PM quick about the LCD readouts.

Cheers, Mike
