Just had to replace my Volvo T5 lpg, as the engine expired after 274k miles.

Looked around, as I do a highish mileage (15-20k) at dodgy old diesels and could not find anything remotely as comfortable/fast as the volvo.

Then stumbled accross the octavia, so its a skoda, but under the skin its an Audi TT !

Got a 55reg (very last of the mk1's) for £2k, and had it fully serviced volksworld of Blackpool (cambelt and water pump, also a remap)

The had pioneer autogas of Rochdale put on a LPG kit. It not runs about 11p per mile.

I'm very impressed, the car is comfortable, quiet, handles well and goes like stink !!. How the light carpets will stand up to 2 small children though !!

I have a suspicion that the front spoiler isn't going to stand up to the rigors of use - it just looks too low - If it gets damaged, I suppose one from a "lesser model" will fit ?
