That's great news, look forward to meeting up then :)

Oh and another update; the venue have sent me a menu and asked if I could pre sort out the orders due to the size of party. Therefore I will try scan it and PM the thing to you if that's OK with everyone.

Thanks,

Tim.

I should be able to make this. Will be a nice run up into Yorkshire.

Be great to see you there Andy :)

Sending everyone a menu; if you can get back to me your order, then I can forward it to the venue (having to arrange this in advance due to numbers attending B) )

Thanks,

Tim.

Yesterday, between Northallerton and Thirsk, we saw six Yetis! Have you started already?

Hi TP

Was waiting for my rugby team (SIDDAL ARL) fixtures and would have loved to come along but we have a home game.

Perhaps another time?

Cheers

I'm currently back on summer rubber, so that would be more than interesting. Although I miss the winter Hankooks, a noticeably better tyre than the factory fitted Conti PremiumContact 2, which I can't wait to wear out (they don't appear to like standing water plus they are prone to tram-lining).

TP

....the factory fitted Conti PremiumContact 2, which I can't wait to wear out ....

(Sorry - OT) What's their mileage, TP? How long have I got to wait for mine to go? (Not that I want the expense, but a set of all-seasons comes next.)

  • Author

Difficult to say accurately, as I haven't kept a mileage record of switching between summer and winter rubber but at a guess 18k. Have a tad under 5mm on the fronts and bag on 5 mm on the rear and they have not been switched front to back, could see no point with the even wear. Would think they will get to 30k before it's sensible to replace them, probably for Michelin Latitude 4x4 summer rubber, if the budget will stretch to them.

Oh winters have after two full winter seasons on the road, 6mm on the front and 7mm rear, again not switched but they may next time around, due to the slight variation in wear with these tyres.

TP

Thanks for that, TP :hi:

Well one more sleep until the Wolds meet tomorrow :)

Tim.

Hope you all have a good lunch, enjoy  :coffee:

Dear Mario,

As a transplanted partner of a Yorkshire man would have been delighted to have attended your event. Must most respectfully decline as t' other half is AWOL . Super son and delightful daughter still require adult supervision . Kindest regards to all attendees. Ps trying to be polite do not have stick where monkey found nut. If an attendee sees green 13 plate nr York maybe me. Kids named her T Rex after Mum/ plate. Kindest greetings to all The Yetiscenti attending.
