Ive had it pluged in (fault code 00285 rf abs sensor) also the asr light stays on! ive changed the sensor abs checked the magnetic ring on the inside off the bearing no damage at all to that ive fixed an exposed wire in the wheel arch but the light has came back in after code being cleared just wondered if anybody has had similar problem or noes any issues that i could also check common places the wire may break

You say the reluctor rings look clean, use a cotton bud dipped in Meths and clean the whole rings and sensor faces.

Ye used break cleaner and also a magnet as i removed the hole hub 2 check the strip on the bearing evan got a second opinion off another mechanic im thinkin its a break in the wireing somewhere
