At last, I have bluetooth !

Featured Replies

Bought my Fabia Greenline new in January and have since been trying to get best Bluetooth option for it as did not want to pay the dealers price. Car came with the Amundsen + (RNS315) unit which used to come with Bluetooth inside but not enabled. Many people have just enabled the Bluetooth via VCDS and it worked. However, it is now apparent that the latest Amundsen + units in the Fabia do not have Bluetooth capability unless selected as an option. So I have bought this

which is an OEM unit and installed it(most difficult part was routing microphone and getting the unit back in place with the extra wiring behind). Did not even need coding afterwards as worked right away !

Only slight hiccup is the seller had labelled the 2 connections for the mic, one for RNS 310 and one for RNS315. The RNS 315 did not work but all worked fine when I attached the mic to the RNS 310 connection

Very happy

Well done. A very useful addition to any car.
