Finally picked up my new superb last week, ordered mid November so its been a long wait!

After only 600 miles I am hugely impressed. Having driven a 2002 Octavia vRS for the last ten years I got the option of company car with new job and very nearly got a golf gtd until it got pulled from the options list.

With the help of you good folk on here I came to the decision the superb was the car for me and never had company car before so wanted to treat myself to a few toys and a bit of s**** as will be spending a lot of my time on the road.

Being a bit of a lanky chap at 6'2 I wanted something with ample space and there really was no contest on the spec I could get for my money. Combined with the tempting 64.2mpg quoted and low low low tax rate I'd found a winner!

The car I test drove had park assist so I specced it in mine, as well as sunset.glass, hill hold.assist and.mdi interface.

Otherwise its as per elegance spec, think it looks awesome in white and have named it the pimpmobile, although my wife hasn't got used to the 'no hos in the front' rule yet

Averaging 56mpg so far and rising, want to get to sixty plus and stay there, am already driving like a granddad!

Only one gripe so far, I can't shuffle the music on my sd card! Otherwise it really is a beautiful car!

good to hear its with you, the 1.6 TDI engine is great and i have it in mine (i have the non greenline 1.6 tdi) and has plenty of poke and the MPG is great for the size of car, sometimes i forget its a 1.6 under the bonnet and more like a 2.0 tdi good cars and the space is brilliant

it is possible, place one track at the root of the SD card (not in any folder). Now start playing this track and then select shuffle, when that track has finished it will start shuffling across all the folders on the card.

I was a bit disappointed to open the rear left door and find an empty space where I had been expecting to see an umbrella. Are they not standard issue these days?

Mpg update 59.2 after 900miles. Getting close to my 60 target, staying there may be another matter!!
