Is there any doubt that same will be extended to the UK.

Is it not the case that those DSG are built in the Plant in China?

So possibly not on DSG built in the European plant.

It would be nice, BUT, VAG have already extended the DSG warranty in the USA quite a while ago, yet nothing in the UK.

They will never extend the warranty, infact they have one of the worst warrantys in the UK overall.

Even Alfa does 5yr now.
