Put my k&n 57i on abit ago and just recently when it's cold I get turbo chatter when I'm changing around 2000rpm. Obviously I'm not using barely any boost as it's cold but it's started to worry me it's just started all of sudden. Won't do it when it's up to temp though. It does sound wicked when it does it but I'm getting paranoid now

Yeah it's just like a dump valve but alot quieter. Just worrying me as it's started quite abit after fitting it and only when cold

Sometimes forget about the advancement lol my earlier golfs had them. Think it changed on mk4s onwards. Im sure someone will remember the change to vnts as std

mine chatters the same and is standard lol there was a thread not so long back that said that its caused by a build up of air pressure in the turbo causing it to stall which is bad.....

although i cant see the filter making a big difference to the turbo
