passengers door. when i unlock with the remote from outside and open the door the doors lock again after 15 second and alarm goes off if i close it. the interior light wont come on when opened either. im guessing the lock unit is on the way out?

boot lock. when all the doors are unlocked it sometimes wont open from outside. i need to keep pressing unlock or boot button on the remote and stay pressing the button on the boot to get it to open. sticking solonied maybe??

In regards to the boot, does pressing down on the tailgate help pop it open?

fixed the boot problem. it was bad contacts in the wiring connectors. a clean and some wd40 seems to have solved it!

still in the same problem with the door lock. from reading around it seems to be a micro switch in the door lock which can be repaired. maybe someday next week i will have time to take it apart

Micro switch definitely. Usual case is open offending door, if dash doesn't show door open its the ,micro switch.

yup the interior light wont come on if the door is opened or if you unlock it with the remote and open it the car will try lock again after a few seconds. i think my mate has an old door lock off a golf. i would say the switches would be the same?
