All the post says is that there is a thread on the Octy forum which explains how to do it. I had seen a bunch of threads there, so I requested the person to send me a link to the thread he was talking about in case I had missed it.

Thanks for the link. I've already been through that thread. Anyway I'm going to try and get all this done tomorrow, and will update you guys once I figure it all out.

I have read these forums where the problem has been discussed enough, but frankly, I think it is only coincidence that has lead them to believe so. This is just my personal opinion, where I could very well be wrong.

If I were you, I would do this fitting straight away without thinking much. As a matter of fact, I know a person here, a fellow Skoda mate owning a Laura, who has fitted Philips HID's (Canbus version) and has been running it for quiet some time (2 yrs???) and has never had any probs. So, don't think twice and just get it done!

I did fit those Philips can bus xenons, and I still got a bulb error. Thats why I've been looking at all these options. The person who did fit it told me they had put similar kits on Octavias and Superbs but those didn't show any errors.

Mr.Akshay. I have installed the same Philips Hid conversion kit with can bus balast and get the same bulb fuse error.

I read on team-bhp that you resolved this issue with some error canceller aka anti-flickering unit. So can you please tell me which company's unit you gave the shot and did it work perfectly and have you faced any other problems after installing this whole over Kit.
