What other driveshafts can i get?

as above, im trying to get a driveshaft for my 54 fabia vrs passenger side but struggling to get one cheap. Do any of the golf/polo/seat driveshafts fit? cheers

Nope will be a different length.. would mate up to the box but wouldnt fit the fabia

thanks alot mate, the polo ones, are they a 1.4 diesel or 1.9?

You can ONLY use the ones with the 1.9 and 6 speed box. The 6 speed box thing is critical.

I can confirm the mk4 golf shaft thing. I got one once and it was at least 2" longer than the fabia one.

Actually, just realised the above was the longer offside one, but I am sure the other side will be wrong too.

bugger lol when i tried getting one about 2 months ago everyone kept sending me 5 speed driveshafts, does anyone know anyone breaking any of these cars? Or anywhere cheap i can get them from, skoda want to charge me £300 :o

I have a spare one I was saving up for when I snapped one. I could be tempted to flog it but then you know what will happen after that.... [sigh!]

its a shame your way to far away from me, i can get one tomorrow for £60 but have a 4 hour round trip to birmingham :(

It would take a bit more than that to get mine off me. Its worth to me when I snap it at Santa Pod will be more than £300! :D

haha i wish i kept my old one and fitted a cv joint, then i wouldnt be having these sorts of problems, thinking of getting rid of her when she is fixed :(
