We are pleased to announce the release of our 1.6TDI software for all variants.

The 1.6TDI engine, available in 75PS, 90PS, 102PS (VW Caddy) and 105PS versions all use the same engine components, and our software gives the full potential available from each engine.

Our remap takes all variants of the engine up to 130bhp/280Nm with smooth power delivery and increased driveability.

A DPF removal option has also been developed and thoroughly tested, so those looking for a 1.6TDI DPF removal can now be assured that the DPF can be removed properly and safely without regenerations and fault lights.

Our software is priced at £399 including VAT and the DPF removal is an additional £200 inc VAT. A Stage 0 DPF removal option will also be announced in due course.

As the ECU needs to be removed and unlocked before the ECU can be modified, special equipment is required. This equipment is available at Shark Performance HQ in Mansfield and selected dealers throughout the UK and Europe. Please check with your local dealer, details available at http://www.sharkperformance.co.uk/dealers or by calling +44 (0)1623 332233

I'm guessing the 75-130bhp remap is the best percentage increase of pretty much any engine.

Good stuff.

Have any Octavia III's been remapped or confirmed doable yet?

We would love to see one if you have one, we believe the ECU to be the same.

Shark has confirmed that the 1.6TDI CR remap takes power up to 135, not 130BHP.
