MW Performance Chester - Superchip, any good?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any experience with MW Performance in Chester? I am about to book my Ocatvia 2012 Blackline in for the ECU to be remapped all in for £365.... are they any good?

No one?!!

No one?!!

No one has posted because you have tried the search function and researched for yourself.

For example, about a month ago I posted:

I can tell you from experience that superchips have engaged in far from 'best practice' !

Thanks for your unrequired sarcastic response John.

FYI, I have tried the search function and with very little results (with the exception of your post a month back detailing such an accurate and informative insight on Super Chips) so I thought a post wouldn't do any harm on the subject.

With such a broad knowledge base on these forums covering a whole range of different motoring information collated over years of personal experiences, it's a wonder anyone posts new threads if you expect people to just simply "Search". With no new threads to initiate new discussions and to publish people's recent experience the searches would always be on historic information... Hence the need for new feedback, even if its been previously covered months/years back.

Thanks for your reply, I'm now fully aware of their remapping capabilities.

There are loads of threads on Briskoda about Superchips. Type 'site:Briskoda.net Superchips' into Google to find them. HTH.

I have drawn a blank trying a similar search of Briskoda for MW Performance.

Thanks DWG, couldn't find much on MWP myself... I'll take a look around.

Sorry, I mean DGW!

:).

We are less than an hour away from Chester if you want somebody that specialises :)

Drop me a mail if you have any questions.

Thanks, Rick

hi dougie, the search facility is ok but google will always be your best option

a remap is a big step especially in a car worth so much, take distance out of the equation and search for reputation customer service and aftersales, there are some big players out there who thrive on forum feedback who like the people you listed are vying for work

Play them all off against each other for the best package for you, its consumers market so consume cautiously

Hi Binzie, thanks for your advice... Makes a lot of sense.

I have been mulling this over for a while now and been constantly researching the different company's out there via google and some have received some real bad reviews which has helped me steer clear!

MWP near Chester seemed to offer a remap at the middle range price with similar results to elsewhere... So after much debate I had my car chipped today by them and upto now I'm very pleased with the outcome.

The customer service and advice they offered was good and professional, their facilities was well kitted and the car feels much crisper and picks up well.

So a good result I think!
