I have been looking underneath my Octy vRS and it seems like there is some plastic undertray missing , roughly rectangular and covers the engine sump area, I have been told the vRS does not have this section fittted , is this true or have I been told wrong ? ............ thanks for any replies

Mine never had one from new.

They do have one but its only about 20cm long just to direct air under car rather than a full tray like the diesels have

There are two undertrays available looking at David 8's link. I`m guessing the largest one only fits the diesel?

The larger one was fitted to a diesels as a sound deadening tool. However it helps to improve mpgs too. I can't see any reason why it would not fit on a petrol engined car though.

True. The mounting points are all there.
