Hi, I'm looking into changing the discs and pads all round on the car as I can feel a reasonable lip on the discs, they tend to bind overnight when it has been damp and require a firm pull off to release. I've had the car remapped to around 185bhp so would u recommend better discs and pads or would standard do?

Are the discs on a vrs tdi 170bhp the same size as what's on a Sport/Elegance/Ambient/Lauren Klement tdi 140bhp? What should I be looking to spend to change them all and upgrade?

No, 312mm on the front of a vrs, 288mm on the pd140.<br /><br />Same calipers and hubs, you just need to find the carriers from a PD 170 golf and then get the 312mm discs. Yeh you dont need bolts and spacers, just the carrier which you posted and the 312mm disc and new pads.
