I put fuel in my car tonight, I pressed the button as usual and it opened, I went to shut the door and it does nt latch and stay closed ??????? I also notice if i now press the button it does nothing now !!

I have to say octavia electrics dont seem great in this car !

Open the access panel in the boot and have a feel of the assembly. Maybe the grease on it has got cold and ended up stuck in the open position.

Octavia electrics in general are ok.

Ah thats good news for both my questions, I wondered if the cold might have made a difference. I will check tomorrow.

Its sorted now thanks, the solonoid had jammed !
