sharkfin aireal

Featured Replies

just wondering that the newer superbs come with a sharkfin fitted as standard, does anyone know if a golf mk5 sharkfin would fit. if no then know the part number for the one on the newer superbs

Can't help sorry but those with sat nav will be dummy aerials, as the radio feed is taken from the side porthole windows I believe.

Have you changed car yet then? Or just planning ahead?

The Superb shark fin looks the same as the ones on the Audi A6 and these are now coming colour coded to match the car - I'd like to replace mine but suspect that Audi ones aren't dummy and therefore it might be cost prohibitive.

Sorry to hi-jack this thread.

A used Superb I am looking at (2011, SE) has a shark fin aeriel. No sat nav, just the usual Bolero.

Is this just a standard fit for the radio (instead of the usual bee-sting aerial), or does this mean the car has Bluetooth fitted?

SE and above have the shark fin, no Bluetooth standard on SE but fairly easy to retrofit under the drivers seat.

Thanks!
