More Downforce Sir

Featured Replies

Sorry Nick....back for my periodic update.

Nissan Sunny GTiR - - car Nissan used for rallying in late 80's early 90's(?? not really sure of the dates but it was a little while ago).

I think in standard it put on around 250bhp...can't remember if it's a 4x4. Has a great big cheese cutter vent on top of bonnet for intercooler.

This one had a red anodised exhaust pipe....and was being driven by some girly wanting a bit of a Skoda with a loud exhaust....go figure.;)

So it should run away from VRSs then? But apparently not from the reports above ....

Actually I have seen these - there were loads of them at the Pod when I was there. Didn't realise Sunny/Pulsar were different names for the same thing ... They were quick, too.

Just being nosey :D

Well you know, some of us have got the power and some just haven't, only joking.

I haven't really fitted it to the RS (as much as I would like to), Mike at IP won't let it out of his sight.

Oh Paul he's got the Canards and the front spliters with adjusters all in carbon to match

Welcome Carpboy, must admit those canards looked good on your rather fetching Cupra R, and in Black always the best colour.

Quite an eventful day Saturday, we had one guy turn up in a twin turbo MR2 who wanted a flamer kit fitted. Job done he proceeded to rev the nuts of it to get it to flame, no flame, one unhappy bloke. After closer inspection we found that the de-cat exhaust he was suppose to be running had grown another cat.

Oh and there was this amusing incident with a DV, but we won't go there.

Des

Des - I'm glad you haven't fitted it to your car (not that I ever thought you had). I'm afraid I think it's gross!

Nick, if I could fit it to the RS I would in the blink of an eye.

Not only does the spoiler look stunning on the RS, the spoiler it self looks top quality and it looks right. In fact the RS looked bland when we took it off. We tried it on an STi and it looked crap and this was made for an STi.

You've got to see it first Nick before you comment, ask Dave and Adrian.
