Just had a thought regarding if my car could have its seats and door inserts recovered for a reasonable cost ? I have a 2006 1.9TDI Elegance and its excellent, can't see me ever gettingr rid of the thing !! But i do like the look of the leather interior VRS's... So could this be done, and if so has anybody done it and had good results. My current interior is the black (with squares) in the cloth,

Easy but not cheap, any specialist seat trimmer will give you a price but it depends on what you want.

I was thinking black leather given the exterior colour is cappaccino beige and the dash plastic is black also.... maybe sand colour could work but not sure.

Would VRS seats also fit my car ?

Yes they would, a scruffy set can go for £150 but usually more and if they are leather considerably more.

Seat Surgeons in York are the bees knees for leather retrims.
