Well the old girl has got 215k miles on here and she's needing a new driverside mat as she has developed a hole  .

So can anyone recommend me a good replacement that looks OEM with the right shape holes for the floor fixing.

Or is anyone trading there Superb in and would like to offer me theres for not a lot of beer tokens.

Will be up North TS14 6EE if anyone up there has anything

Not sure about posting active links on forum, so please replace 88 with correct syntax.

Hope this can help not sure that all mats got hole for fittings at least on picture

I used simply car matts (www.simplycarmatts.co.uk located in Tamworth) when brought some for my beige interior superb. My car came with the original 'champagne coloured' carpets oh oh look nice but not very practical.

They came quickly and the rears where incorrect - possible passat ones as they were too short. However having contacted them it got sorted and they sent me some more so the service was ok when there was a problem.

They came with the holes in the right places, and were a perfect fit (apart from the intial issue below). They have last 3 years so far having their first washing machine wash this Feb and still looking good.

FLEABAY!!!!! :)

NO not fleabay there cheap on there for a reason.

How much do you want to pay?

I bought set of originals last November off dealers for £40.

I bought some mats on eBay and they've been great.

I think the dealer should give you a free set for passing 200k miles! :sun:

Might try dealers. Any links for where people have bought there mats from.

I wonder if you can get the grey edged mats that match the leather colour for an Edition 100 as per original fitment?

Have a feeling the dealers have discontinued them now. They only had the boot liners listed when I popped in before Christmas.

I guess it is broken mat season. I just ordered a bit of an upgrade from Ebay, got fed up with a heel hole on each of 2 otherwise very good condition velour driver side mats I had (holes outside normal heel pad area, I guess they do not plan these heel pads for tall drivers).

So I ordered a set made from 4kg pile weight carpet that is used on Bentleys (standard mats are about 600g). Cheap it was most definitely not, but at 6x carpet pile weight of an average budget mat, and at 20mm+ thick, I expect nothing but quality, and reduced noise in the cabin as a bonus. We'll see.

Got my mats today, and as it is usually the case with fleabay, not quite fitting the description. Carpet was 2kg pile, not 4kg (total weight with backing was 4kg/sqm), and driver mat peg holes were ~5mm and ~10mm out of the correct position. Other than that, the colour was fine, and 2kg carpet is still the most decent mat the car has seen by quite a margin. So half an hour on the phone, 30% refund and 20mins to relocate the pegs on the car later (after 7 years they're a dog do get out), I have a decent set of mats in my Superb, better than the "exclusive" original factory ones IMHO. They are about 10-12mm thick, colour is mid grey. Hopefully will last till next TB job :)

I must say I'm still amazed at the quality of the OE mats (at least on the edition 100) - over 80,000 miles and no hint of a hole from my heel - all OE mats I've had in French cars have gone through in 40-50K.

I took my old ones to a place in town who made my mats for my truck.

All edged and nice and thick. Only £35 .
