i know mk1 octavia brakes fit a mk1 fabia but do the mk2 octavia vrs brakes fit? are they the same as mk 1 just red or completely different?

They 5x112 I think? so only the mk1 fits as they're 5x100

the discs are 5x112 pcd so probably not, dont know about the calipers and carriers though. why u seen some forsale ?

so £60 for a set + discs n pads seemed pretty good and hopefully mk2 rears wouldnt howl

They won't fit a Fabia, as said the pcd is wrong

mk2 octavia vrs uses 312 discs though so you could use mk1 discs which puts you at 5x100 but mk2 calipers are selling at half the price of mk 1 so if the carrier would bolt straight on to the mk 1 fabia stub axle then everything would mate up fine ....

i think i need to blag a carrier off a mk 2 cheap to pattern it all up before starting buying owt

most 312mm disks have both 100 and 112 holes. im 99% sure carriers off the mk2 octavia fit the mk1
