oil pressure light on

Featured Replies

Hi, whilst driving home the other night my oil pressure light on my 2009 Octavia 1.6 came on. The car went into limp mode but I managed to get it to a Skoda garage where my questions arise. I have been told that to find the problem out they will need to strip the top if the engine down which will cost £900 as they believe the turbo and erg have failed . in total they have quoted £3000 for the whole job?

Does this sound correct or am I being lead up the garden path? please help
