Geoff - same speakers as I've got in my rears, and if I'd got them first I might well have gone for the Pioneer 17s in the front...cracking speakers, especially for the money!

Considering the price of the Sony MP3 units, and the improvement it'll make on sound quality, I'd urge you to do this too when you've got some more spare pennies...

Just found a nice 10 Disc Kenwood MP3 changer that should work with my Mask HU

Anyone managed to fit a bigger changer in the same position as the standard 6 disc job, if so, how easy is it ???

It depends which dimensions it's bigger in - if it's deeper, that shouldn't make much difference as the mounting holes could no doubt be persuaded to "line up". The carpet surround might not fit on again though. If it's wider than the existing one, it might not fit between the brackets, which would be trickier, and is the problem I faced. Ended up tucking it in the polystyrene cubbyhole and regaining some boot space...

Hi guys-just read this whole thread and noticed the dates go back a long way-been trying to find the speakers you guys have all quoted as fitting in the standard posn. in the octavia,but clearly the serial numbers/model numbers have changed since this thread was written---does anyone at all have any up to date info on what model number speakers will fit in the octy ?... cheers :-)
