just noticed a leak under my 51 plate octavia 1.9 tdi and upon investigation it is coming from the nearside of the steering rack where the track control arm exits the plastic bellows. can this be stripped and new seals purchased & fitted or do i have to change the rack as a whole item ?

i had 3 go on different cars (taxi's) but i went for second hand and still going strong

second hand is easier and cheaper, i picked mine up for £50 off a well know auction site
