No there wasn't anything there. Is there any where I can get them from? Had no success looking online. Skoda main dealer part?

Buy new brake pads, should have a 3 sided prong on the back

Someones fitted the wrong pads

Thats pretty shocking.

Sounds like a monkey has been playin mechanics with the brakes ! New pads needed and all will be well :) tbh that spring looks ok to me .. It's awkward coz of the pics but its seated properly and looks complete to me ..

Hi again. it is definatly the front pads making the clattering noise. there are no clips on the front inside pads (piston side) on both callipers. The vender couldn't source any pads on the day with the springs (Saturday) but has given me a cheque from some new ones + fitting. As this has cost me so much already in serving and various garage visits, is there any where were i can get just the retaining clips only? or does anyone have any spares going?

Cheers,

Ant

Just get some new pads from euro car parts and fit them yourself, would only take 30 mins

Indeed, some Pagid ones are decent.

I fitted pagid front pads today and very impressed. They compliment the pagid rear pads well.

sweet i'll get them ordered up now. got £70 from the chap that sold it to me to get them done. but I'll do it myself and maybe clean up the calipers a bit. Any views on grooved and/or drilled discs, worth it?

Those are koni fsd shocks on there :D totally irrelevant but i just noticed by the colour of them.
