Does any one have a Yellow vRS in the midlands area?

You might want to tell people where you are located, to see who's near enough for you to visit - there are lots of people on here with yellow cars but they probably won't respond unless they know you're fairly nearby... :)

Well, i'm in Derby but i can travel, hence saying the midlands...

I'd be willing travel pretty far really as it's important i get the right colour so it's a big decision

Any one free? :)

Thanks for the advice so far though guys...

Hey someone else from Derby, hello Poop! Haven't seen a yellow one about the place.

I wanted the Black, though the Silver looked nice (but my girlfriend got the silver in the end).

I chose Red, as it was the only one they had in (got ex-demo cheap). My dealer warned me off the yellow saying that no one wants them 2nd hand, and they drop a lot more in depreciation because it's not a desirable colour in the used car market. I could understand if it was a normal Fabia, but surely yellow is quite popular amongst sportier trims?

Also I hated how the yellow looked when it was dirty. But definitely check it out 'in the flesh'

How's it going! :)

I think checking out a yellow in the flesh is certainly the right way to do things

I'm looking at yellow though as i may be keeping the car for quite a while so depreciation won't really bother me that much

Black does look great but it's high maintenance

How does Silver fair when it's not been cleaned for a while/stone chips e.t.c.

Motroway driving can take it's toll :(

Pilling's have a yellow one on demo in Milton Keynes, bit far but just thought i'd mention it.

The missus hasn't washed it for a few months now and unless you stand next to it you wouldn't even notice. Damn her. But she does have the 1.4 petrol. I need to wash mine every week just to remove the soot from the rear. Or lose weight on my foot :)

My paintwork is good against stone chips. I have one bad one, which sounded like a bl**dy bullet when it hit. But the front spoiler is awfully painted, lots of chips and stuff going on there. I'm not sure if it's just mine or a general thing (or maybe as it's an ex demo) but it notices there more than anywhere else. Haven't noticed any on my girlfriends car. But it's not mine so I don't really look ;)

Was that the skoda dealer in derby??

he tried that one on me too, nothing to do with the fact yellow is

Hello

There's one on Ebay at the moment. 2003 16K miles.

I have Met Black which is high maintenance althought it looks great. I'm thinking of sellling so I suppose I shouldn't be pointing you at a rival but always try to be helpful!

I do like the yellow. And like others have said, black looks spot on when clean, but keeping it clean is a pig!

Thing is with my job, don't want a car thats too identifiable. Also one of the reasons I chose the Fabia - its styling is quite understated. :)

Yeah, it was. I didn't find them too bad when I was buying my car. They did a good price for me in the end. Will be in for a 20k service soon, so I guess I'll see what they're like then. (Especially as i'm considering starting on the Mod route, so will be talking about warrantee issues etc.)

Only problem I've had was the wiper tank began to stink something rotten when the water went a bit stagnant. They drained it and filled it no problems when I took it in.

I haven't seen any yellow fabias there at all, and I go past quite often. Maybe they just don't like yellow?

lol, may i ask what price they got you?

the bloke i was talking to was quiet rude and ignorant to tell me i wouldnt find a 2nd hand vrs ANYWHERE for less than

Think I got it for just over 10,500 in the end, with road tax on top. Has their ex-demo (before they started sticking huge stickers all over it, phew!) so it had Xenons, 6 disc changer, cruise and airbag switch, 7.5k on the clock. (they just bought in a new Demo car, so it was good timing)

The guy I bought it from was very good, there was another who tried to sell me a new one when I went back after my test-drive who was a bit too pushy. But I tried a few dealers for a 2nd hand one, and most said that they never get any in. Which is why I went for the demo rather than waiting for a 2nd hand one or paying far more for new. (Plus my Punto 1.2 needed a new headgasket - and a larger engine :) - so I was in a fix)

I've got a yellow Furby vRS in Loughborough, if that will be a help next week.

There was one in Farmer's Skoda showroom in Leicester a few weeks ago, it looked really good, unfortunately it's not there now, anyone know what happened to it?

Most likely got sold. :P

Claybank, Mcr have a yellow demo at the moment. It's all stickered up with a huge motorsport logo and their name down the side. Also got tinted rear windows and random tuning suppliers names on them. Looks different... but not really my cup'o'tea.
