I'm not 100% sure but I think it comes with alarm as standard, for some reason I have never heard it go off I tried to check it by half opening a window, locking the car (one and two clicks) and then opening from the inside but nothing happened is there a fuse anywhere? or another way to test?

They all come with a thatcham cat 1 alarm. Do the indicators flash but you have no sound?

your problem is different as mine was half working.....so my reply was useless

Yeah I have no sound but as far as I'm aware you only get sound if if it's been tech2'd?

Assuming yours is not a vRS then it's quite likely you don't have one.

Depends on your trim level.

They do all have immobilisers mind you but not all have an alarm sounder.

Our Ambiente SDI Fabia had no actual alarm but was equipped with an immobiliser.

All vRS Fabias have both alarm and immobiliser.

Best way I tested mine was to unlock the with the key in the door, then don't put the key in the ignition. Automatically goes off after 30 seconds.
