Main boot trim re fitting?

Featured Replies

I am in no way new to taking apart cars... however having taken my boot to bits to try and source my leek and realized is the actual rear screen leaking i decided to put it all back together.

Can i get the main boot panel back on?? can i feck! i just pulled straight off but now when i try to re fit it simply will not go on.

Any tips or am i just being thick??

Get it on at the top 1st by bending it to slot between the sides of the boot lid and match with the trim.

Then manoeuvre all clips into holes.

Pull boot pull through hole.

Punch over each clip.

It's a total mare but does go on again!

That's exactly what i have been trying but i cant bend it in a the top without the other side popping out!

I will have my weetabix in the morning then go for round two!

I remember doing this on my last Fabia.... absolute pig to get back in but I managed it by the way described above. Like you say, strength and perseverance!

Add weetabix, take brave pills, tweak your nipples and knock the ****e out of it.

Should go in after that.
