On the German Skoda forum, a guy did this with felt and spray glue: http://www.skodacommunity.de/skoda-forum/skoda-citigo-forum/77957-kofferraumteppich-f%C3%BCr-den-citigo-woher-am-besten/

I cannot post the photos but you can see them in full size, if you create a free account.

I had the citigo as my MOT/servicing courtesy car last month, and I was initially pretty naffed off (it was a Superb last year), particually as I had a 100 mile round trip to make for business that day. However, by the end of the day I'd actually grown quite fond of the little thing - yes, other road users weren't quite as 'respectful' as when I'm in my Octy vRS, but if I constantly floored it I found it was quite fun to drive (although I doubt my fuel economy was very good!).

But the one thing I couldn't get used to was the terrible road noise from the rear wheels that echoed through the boot area. Certainly if I had one for any length of time I think the first thing I would do would be to get some sound absorbing matting fitted back there to reduce it.

Going from a booming 500 I don't find it that bad. Though imho it should and needs inner arches on the rear, that would stop the god almighty noise from stones flicking up.

I have had inner rear arches in plastic/rubber fitted from delivery and generally find the car has very little road noise / engine noise even on the motorway.

However, stones under the car and in the arches still sounds a bit loud.

My arches look like this (from the company that supplied them): http://www.inderskaerme.dk/Sider/tekstforklaring.htm

They do pretty much any car model that lacks them from the factory: http://www.inderskaerme.dk/
