Has anybody modded their LE?

Featured Replies

Just wondering on here if any of you Pre FL limited edition owners have modded your cars in any way?

Just been looking at new alloys (3sdm 0.01) and unsure on black or silver. Also been looking at getting some Eibach Pro Springs so wanted to see how they sit with them fitted.

I was just after some insperation really and i am yet to see another modded LE owner.

Last week I colour coded the lower grilles and chrome surround. New badges and carbon wrapped the background and MiloTec roof spoiler.

That ain't a LE?

I keep thinking this... would like an LE estate but the OE wheels look rubbish. I reckon an LE estate, dechromed and lowered on a set of black Zeniths would look amazing!

I have only changed from the crappy buckled wheels and put on a set of zeniths. Which I think it looks 100% better now.

Going to install a rear view camera shortly to aid me reversing up to my caravan :-)

I'm unsure on black wheels this is the thing. I have a black grill surround, so was thinking of keeping the matte black look and going for matte black wheels??

This is how she is now

Thinking of 3sdm wheels in either matte black or silver with diamond cut face. And eibach pro springs

Matt black Zeniths and a bit of a drop. Yum!

Refurb the existing wheels black or anthracite lower it a small bit and get the black headlights..................job done.

I'm still on the original wheels (although have had 2 replacements since new), but the main 'mod' (aside from a stage 1 Blufin map) is a replacement LE badge due to the red letters falling off the original one. I used one the same as this and it looks loads better than the OEM - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3D-LIMITED-EDITION-EMBLEM-BADGE-FOR-BOOT-SPOILER-WING-FRONT-LIP-BUMPER-BLACK-/321102913141?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ac3399e75

If it helps here are some pics of LE running Zeniths, but I think the transport spring blocks are fitted as the photos were taken at Grimsby docks:

Granted mine wasn't an LE but I think the Pegasus wheels suit the colour well.
