quick question... when my EPC light is on why wont my car start?

as above?

No quick answer unfortunately, any number of things can cause the EPC light to come on.

The light coming on is just a generic way for the car to tell you 'something' isn't right, to get any specific information out it, you'd have to read the fault codes by connecting a piece of diagnostic kit or a VCDS.

Most common issues with EPC light are related to air flow and exhausts, but I'd have a read of this post first...

If it's not starting, you either need to get it to a garage to read the fault codes, get yourself a code reader or find somebody who'll come to you and read the fault codes.

I can't see the title due to being on my phone but possibly faulty crank sensor.
