Old brake parts - any value?

Featured Replies

After a bit of a nightmare upgrade (the vRS rear brake setup I bought from someone on here turned out to be vRS calipers and some unknown standard carriers; certainly not vented ones :() and a handful of wrong parts, I'm left over with the following:

2 * 232mm brake discs (about 10,000 miles of use I think)

2 * 232mm brake calipers (offside is low efficiency but could be re-conned by someone with time and knowledge that I don't posess)

2 * 232mm brake carriers in green

2 * 256mm brake discs (used for an unknown amount of time)

2 * 232mm(?) brake carriers in black

I'm going to ring a local place that sells reconned calipers tomorrow and see if the calipers are worth anything to them for getting reconned and selling on (at £74 per caliper with a £30 surcharge I would think they'd possibly take them off my hands cos they'll get a bit of profit out of them). But are the other bits likely to be worth owt for off-road use or just drop them off with a local garage for scrap?
