Boot getting soaked from water on back window

Hi all. Just wondering if there is a fix for the boot because when its rained and the back window is wet the boot gets soaked when u open it. It also splashes the rear speakers. Its quite annoying.

Have search this was popular a few years back a thin bead of silicone does the trick.

Or opening slowly but thats a pita lol
