A gathering of Yeti's

Featured Replies

a little off topic...but why do people 'blank' the number plate when posting pictures of cars ??????????????????????

Two reasons. To maintain people's anonymity and to reduce cloning or copying of identities by criminals.

So they can't be cloned by criminals or be used to look up the details of the vehicle so it can be 'ringed'

Come on, own up, who's is the white Yeti three in from the end?

You could have straightened up the wheels for the photo's :giggle:

Don't blame the driver... I reckon it fancied the green one.

Body language is a wonderful thing ;)

That ones mine. Confirm it is Storm Blue with Annapura rims.

Andy

I have just ordered my second yeti and wanted storm blue.

Was told by the dealer that its not available except on stock already built.

None in 140 DSG, with the options i wanted, so went for a petrol blue instead

I agree, I do think perhaps it's a little over cautious. If I was going down the route of cloning a vehicle I would look on line for models for sale of the type and colour needed, and as most dealers don't hide the reg. no. hey presto!

I'd imagine an owner's forum would be pretty far down the list but understand the sentiments behind the practice.
