How to replace vRS seat base foam.

Featured Replies

Side bolster has collapsed on my FL Octavia drivers seat. Have bought the new seat base, but before I pull it all apart thought I'd ask here if anyone has had experience of doing this.

Have searched this site and the web and found a couple of guides for mk1 Octys and Golf MkIVs but nothing for Octy IIs.

Have found this for mkV Golf:

Anyone have any words of wisdom about the Octy2?

thanks

Dave

I have done quite a few, give us a shout if you get stuck

Just had my seat out yesterday to repair the height adjuster in the base, and this looks identical. All the bolts and clips mentioned are the same. I didn't do anything with the back, but I'd think it'll be the same too.

I'd like to know the same, has anyone replaced base foam i want to do my own soon? How much was the new base foam dave?

Not got round to doing mine yet. Will do sometime this week when I get time. Seat base foam was £77 I think from TPS.
