Now that I have owned my lovely little car for almost 6 weeks I decided to have a look in the boot!!!

As there is no spare wheel on the Greentech, I see there is a battery operated tyre inflater.

My question is.................... can this be used to check tyre pressures? Is the gauge accurate enough ??

I can't see why not? but would be best to check against a known gauge to make sure. A spare wheel is an optional extra on ALL Citigo models.

It will take a while. They're not the quickest inflators in the world but adequate in an emergency.

I have used it as a normal tyre inflater.

When I purchased my Alfa Romeo 156 it was trailered to me with 3 flat tyres, after a short while it was able to inflate all 3. but! it was very warm.

So although its a handy little unit to have, I wouldn't suggest too much prolonged use

and as said Above, i check the pressures afterwards with a known gauge. But im so kack-handed with the valves im not sure how accurate it is compared to the gauge
