Best remap in the North East?

Featured Replies

Tempted to spend some pennies on the VRS getting it remapped, and possibly fitting a turbo back exhaust system.

Can anyone recommend a tuning company in the North East please? Don't mind travelling a bit, but would prefer it to be somewhere within a couple of hours! :)

There's a jabba dealer in hebburn I think. Richard Martin automotive solutions in Peterlee is a DNA remap dealer. (Used to be APR dealer). eclipse performance in Sunderland do generic stage one stuff not sure whose software they use. Also there is sedox performance also based in Sunderland. Bound to be a few more but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Have you tried more-bhp? They do stage one generic maps (220bhp). They offer a postal service with a 3 day turn around. Find them on eBay. It's about £130 all in but only down side is there's no after map drive to make sure the map is ok on your car, but at less than half the price of most basic stage one maps its very tempting!

Seaview Performance garage in Horden, comes highly recommended by loads of people, he done my exhaust for me and had quite a few cars in for a remap while I was there. all custom aswell,

Thanks for the replies, time to make a couple of phone calls. :)

I don't know if you'd class Leeds as the North East, but RS Tuning gets my vote. He remapped my Octavia and it was a fantastic map. It was done on a rolling road and Paul took ages to get things right.
