Going to the Ring, need brake pads..

Featured Replies

Off to the Nurburgring next month, so I'm uprating the tired standard brakes on my VRS.

Discs are already sorted - got some EBC Turbo Groove (Spotties) rear discs, and some OEM Brembo front discs that are being CNC drilled and grooved to match the rears

So its down to Pads. I know that DS2500s are the ones to have, but I cannot find many dealers at all, and the cheapest is

e-mail [email protected] and see if he's any ds2500's in your fitment.

I've got front & rears on the way for my LCR - brembo fronts as well, so if yours are the same fitment as mine...

...Oh, and also, ask Bill what he thinks from experience of drilled discs!! GOOD LUCK!!

I got mine from Demon Tweeks. We get a 10% discount. If they say they have no stock, ask for them to be sent direct and they'll arrive next day or the day after :D

Others to try would be Pagid Blues.

Do a search on that and you'll find links to 3 suppliers for the ds2500s and the blues.

Take a look around the Briskoda Partners section. I can't remember the details, but IIRC someone is offering a special deal on Pagid Blues for Briskodians.

(EDIT) Yer tiz

might be worth taking a spare set of pads with you, as we my mate managed to kill a set of pads this weekend!

He braked too much :)

Set of pads easilly lasts 4 Ring trips and about 12k road miles (for me) :D
