Hi guys. My interior light and puddle light doesnt come on when i open the drivers door. It unlocks and locks and does everything else as it should but for some reason the lights wont come on. Does anyone know what the fault could be?

Does the light come on when you unlock it

Does the lights on buzzer sound if you leave the lights on and open the door? Does it work manually?

I've got the same problem and the light buzzer doesn't work either! Would I be right in saying the micro switch is knackered?

Yer the light comes on when the doors are unlocked and if you use the key in that door to unlock it. No buzzer sound if you leave the lights on and open the door. If youopen any other door or press the buttons to turn them on they come straight on.

Same as mine, doesn't really bother me tbh

I haven't had this problem, but it does sound like it's either the door micro switch, or corrosion to the wiring plug.

As RAF said,i fixed a friends vrs with the same problem,new micro switch fixed it.

Cheers for the replys and sorry for the late reply. My phone went for a swim so i had to dry it out. Haha. Where is this mico switch and how do you replace it? Is there any guides on the net for it? Its one of those silly little things that bugs me. Gay i know before anyone says it. Lol.
