After being told I should start a thread here it is;

After selling my Audi, which was rinsing me of all my money (not running costs buy maintenance) I fancied saving a bit of money and buying something economical. It was Catmans Vrs which made me decide on buying a Fabia and it had to be black!

I really wasn't going to mod this, then 2 reasons why it went the other way. Briskoda and Joshh.

Quick brief;

06 plate

312mm brakes

AP Coilovers/new mounts/bearings and eventually cupra bump stops.

Then coilovers started to settle and needed adjusting

And that's it.

Really like the TT comps.

Audi was cool joe, but the engine was shot. Low compression on 2 cylinders and a lumpy start from cold.

Joshh fitted the cupra bushes and we lowered it a tad more. Then had tyres fitted to the comps.

The #czechmate thing is just a Instagram thing, you can # anything and you or your followers can click on that # and link to all your images. Just a gimmick thing. E.g you could #fabiabannana

It is random budd. All the cool kids do it (lol).

12.5 threads from the bottom on the front. All the way down at the back.

Since they were first fitted on that very cold day, one of the rear springs wasn't seated correctly meant it twanged over every bump. All sorted now.

Not really into detailing as such but I saw this beading after using poor boys black hole and autoglym sealant

Really enjoyed castle Combe action day. Thanks to Boss Fox for taking me out in the Nissan, literally the fastest 12mins of my life loved it! Very nice meeting the briskoda gang. Was on tender hooks all day then waiting for my session.

The Fabia got a fair bit of attention at the stand mainly "that looks low, ooo look at the plate and nice armrest" little things but made me smile.

Track session soon came around, I was in the mixed session and one of the last out so don't think I over took anything. This in turn made me angry and now it's safe to say the need for speed is within me. I was surprised by some of the Fabias out with us korban's Fabia for one surprised me or that could have been his ability to drive better than I..

Updates.

So today on a slight hangover in the sun, josh and I decided to fit my OEM Xenons.

I think it brings the car right up to date and gives it eyes!

Also fitted rear parking sensors which work a treat. No photos, as I was too nervous watching josh out holes in the bumper.
